I bought this item for the sole purpose of transferring files from my 20 gb xbox 360 hard drive to this flash drive. Everything went smoothly. I found out that every file can be transferred except for the games that you install onto the drive that requires a disc. So any XBox live Arcade games can be moved, but any games that you bought the disc and have it installed cannot be transferred. But you can install it onto the flash drive initially! You just can't transfer it. Not a big concern though.

The flash drive looks decent with its black color and red writing. The package came with a USB cable and a lanyard for any of you that would like to wear the flash drive around your neck. I recommend this flash drive!

Have you ever wanted to own something impossible? I do. I bought this tiny lil peg that claimed to be 32Gb big, thinking, "No way this is really real, they must be using compression or some fakery of numbers, but I thought, what if?"

Well, now it has 13Gb of my favorite music on it and it's plugged into the front of my truck stereo, invisible unless you knew what you were looking at. No annoying flashing light, pre-formatted as FAT32 for widest possible range of usage and already loaded with security software should I need to keep my secret squirrel files on it...?

I'm looking at my finger sized memory pegs and they look like 3.5" floppy disks did when the CD came out.

Obviously impossible to be that small and that big at the same time, but it works great all the same! 🙂

OK, I could not understand why my "state of the art" PC would not transfer to a flash drive with this "Incredible" 3.0 super-fast-speed system.

I went back and forth with Intel thinking it was their motherboard or perhaps drivers. Found out the USB flash I was using was on the slow end of the spectrum.

I copied a 3.19 GB file from PC to flash drive as follows. A 3.0 USB flash drive (inexpensive) took 6 minutes and 53 seconds to transfer. Using the

new Lexar Triton 16GB flash drive the same file transferred in 35 seconds...yes 35 seconds. A MAJOR jump in performance. Yes, the price tag was on the

high end but so is the performance gain from using a high end flash drive.

I would fully recommend a purchasing this flash drive if you want performance.

This is an excellent flash drive! Kingston made a great innovation by integrating the cover for the usb port with a swinging metal shield. That way, I long longer have to worry about losing those small caps.

In the metal piece, there is also a hole at the top so that you can attach a string to it, some people like to hang their flash drives around their necks (so they are always sure where it is).

This drive is very reliable, the Reading speed is 10MB/sec, while the Writing speed is 5MB/sec.

I highly recommend this Flash Drive.

Considering the number and brands of flash drives available in the market today. I purchased the SanDisk Cruzer USB 64GB, and am very satisfied, with the most appreciated feature being the retractable head. I recommend Amazon to anyone shopping for not only a flash drive, but other products also. I believe Amazon is the wise way to shop.

The other 5 star reviews have summed up most of what I have to say. This is a very good investment.

For the 1 star reviews claiming the drive is 59GB, that's not true.

To clear up any confusion you have to look at how each GB is calculated. Different software and hardware manufacturers use different units of measurement. 1GB does not always equal 1024MB, it may equal 1000MB. Gigabyte vs Gibibyte. Hardware, like this flash drive is measured in GB (Gigabyte) by Corsair and is in fact 64GB. But when you plug it into Windows, and most operating systems, your drive is seen as GiB (Gibibyte). 64GB = 59.6GiB

Exactly what the title says. I was amazed at the speed of this drive. It copied my old 8GB drive in less than 10 seconds. It y goes above and beyond the speed it advertises. My two gripes are when you are transferring large files, the drive will get exceptionally hot so take caution and do not overload your drive. Also if you do not re-format to NTFS, your drive will be bogged down by a approx. 4GB cache instead of unlimited with NTFS. If you use a Mac however, you should use exFAT instead for compatibility. 🙂

This is seriously the most sturdy flash drive I've ever seen. This makes me feel better, because I won't have to worry so much about it being bent or broken in some other way. The cap is also a good feature, and as mentioned in other reviews, it does stay on tightly, so it's hard for it to just fall off. I am also happy because this is the first flash drive that I've found that will work in my Talking Book Player. My computer recognizes it fast, and it's very easy to use-no extra things to work around. The only downside is that it doesn't have the exact number of GB as stated, but then again, no flash drive does (the 8 GB I bought has 7.20 GB). However, I use flash drives only for text, so it really is no big deal. So overall, I can definitely see myself buying more of these in the future.

Time is money and I have saved enough time waiting for booting or copying files to pay for all 4 of these high speed USB flash drives. I use it to transfer large creative files to clients. I use a few that are dedicated strictly for computer repair - one for Windows, one for Mac and one for Windows anti-virus. Try quickly troubleshooting a computer without opening it up where not only the OS is broken, but so is the CD/DVD drive! Use it once to make a client happy and the flash drive pays for itself. The Transcend lifetime guarantee is just icing on a very yummy cake.

I also have a JetFlash 300 which I have used for years. It's still going strong and working hard. Pay less for a no-name or less reliable flash drive, and you'll end up paying more by needing to replace it. Transcend flash drives are small, stylish, and reliable.

I love these like you are supposed to not LOVE your pets instead of love your pets.

so fast compared to my old 2.0 flash drives.

I used these as bootable usb drives for custom windows 7 installers. very fast installations, especially on computers with usb 3.0.

they are the bomb diggity. I just wish the teeny little loop you can barely see in some of the pics were just a little bit bigger so I could fit a key ring or lobster hook through.

I'm going to try and find some mini lanyards instead, but aside from that, score!
